Not being a sensible person, I continue on in the morning. The weather has cleared, and I follow the Interstates through Pennsylvania and Ohio to Indianapolis, Indiana. My goal is to avoid Interstates, but for now I am anxious to get out of the familiar east, and need to be on time for the conference. In Indianapolis I find Black Acre Brewing Co., an upscale brew pub with a Scratch Truck out back. I don't care much for the Scratch Burger, with "bacon marmalade", but the rye IPA is tasty.
