Heading north, I pass a speed trap just outside of Weirs Beach where the local police are doing a brisk business. That night I get a motel in North Conway. Bikers are everywhere in New England this week, and I meet groups from Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and numerous US states. The motels get a lot of business from bikers, they have kickstand pads for each parking spot.
