Most of my time is spent on trails and in the backcountry, including many days on Pemitic Mountain. The bedrock is mainly Cadillac Mountain granite, a beautiful pink igneous rock composed of potassium feldspar, plagioclase, quartz, and hornblende. This is a view of Penobscot Mountain from from the summit.
