Following 209 north to the Shawangunk Mountains, I make a short victory loop over the Shawangunk Ridge, and through the Catskills, following one of my regular home routes, rolling my three digit trip odometer past it's third 999. This picture of the Ridge was taken on a ride the previous Fall. My excursion to Birmingham has taken me through nine States, two National Parks, and over 3000 miles of road during 8 days of riding.
