1938 Crocker (USA). 917 cc air-cooled 45 degree V-twin four stroke. Top speed 110 mph. Albert Crocker left Indian to build made to order super-bikes, described as the Duesenbergs of American motorcycles. Crockers were phenominal, able to cruise between 90 and 100 mph. Crocker never had to make good on the advertised money-back offer to any rider beaten by an Indian or Harley-Davidson. Only about 75 were built from 1936 to 1940.
