The following stretch of US 20 through Iowa is unremarkable, and we finish a 511 mile (822 km) day in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where a car careens across three lanes of traffic in front of us and crashs into a retaining wall. We stay clear, but the event leaves me wary.
