Ka‘ū Coffee Mill is our last stop. The unique climate on this side of the island at a certain altitude band, with the alkaline soil from basalt, form a perfect environment for growing coffee. Following the closing of sugar plantations, growers turned to coffee in the Kona and later Ka‘ū districts, and now produce some of the most sought after coffee in world.
