Day 12 - Muir Pass: Sapphire Lake to Grouse Meadow (15 mi, 3750 ft relief). Morning view of Mount Huxley (13086 ft) and Sapphire Lake camp. Today is the ascent over the first of the major southern passes, Muir Pass (11991 ft), followed by a long descent into Le Conte Canyon.
