1971 Harley Davidson FX Super Glide "Night Train" (USA). 74 cu. in. (1200 cc) 45 degree V-twin four stroke, four speed. Top speed 105 mph. Introduced in 1971, the FX was a mix of components from the larger FLH Electra Glide and the XLH Sportster, to produce a factory "custom" intermediate between the big and small twins. The single piece "Boat-Tail" seat-fender gave it a unique style. This example has the optional "Sparkling America" paint style. The American Machine and Foundry Corporation (AMF) had aquired Harley-Davidson in 1969.
